WINDSOR - Marit Stiles, Leader of the Official Opposition NDP, brought her party’s housing solutions to Windsor today, with an address to the Provincial Building and Construction Trades Council of Ontario.
While people are struggling with the rising cost of living, Ford has been distracted by his corrupt Greenbelt grab – for which he is now under an RCMP criminal investigation.
Stiles highlighted how an NDP government would be focused on solutions that would bring meaningful change to people’s lives:
“Let me tell you one thing, the NDP’s housing plan is going to keep you very, very busy for years. Ontario right now has the biggest housing supply gap, and the Official Opposition has the policies, solutions, and political will to close that gap.
[…]
Your Official Opposition has a vision and plan to build long-term infrastructure, including hospitals, long-term care homes, transit, roads right across Ontario. Our plan will create jobs and provide stability at a time people need it most. And that means continuing to have more opportunities to get into the trades and making a living from your trade.”
